Oklahoma’s online Prescription Monitoring System is checked most often by physicians, followed by pharmacists and enforcement or regulatory agencies, according to 2013 data. Pharmacists are not required to run “doctor-shopping” checks but have authority to do so. Last, year, 15,828 medical professionals were registered to use the PMP.
