Dena Drabek has been named chief operating officer for Oklahoma Watch.
Drabek, a native Oklahoman and former television journalist, will help lead Oklahoma Watch’s efforts in financial development, marketing and public engagement.
“Dena is an extremely talented and accomplished professional, and we are excited to have her on our team,” said Executive Editor David Fritze. “She will play a pivotal role in our efforts to grow and diversify fundraising and deepen connections to our audience.”
Drabek’s background as a communications professional includes experience with corporate, nonprofit, government and public affairs in Oklahoma and Washington D.C. She holds degrees in journalism and administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma. She was a television reporter in Fayetteville, Ark., and Ardmore.
