-Do: Always place the baby on his/her back to sleep

-Don’t: Have soft objects, toys, loose bedding, sheepskins or bumper pads in the crib

-Don’t: Place the crib near mini-blinds or other potential hazards

-Don’t: Have slats on the crib that more than 2 3/8 inches wide

-Don’t: Use blankets

-Don’t: Cover the baby’s head

-Don’t: Smoke around the baby
