New Roadside Scanner Contract Brings Uninsured Drivers Closer to Automatic Tickets

Uninsured drivers took a step closer to receiving automatic citations after a contract with the state District Attorneys Council was allowing a Massachusetts-based company to deploy license plate scanners. The enforcement program is believed to be the first of its kind in the nation.
